Job description

Description:
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. This is a remote-friendly role based in Eastern time zone.  The role involves assessing data sources, developing queries and creating PowerBI reports and dashboards.  These reports should deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions.  You will partner with business users to gather requirements, define and design report outputs and deliver items to Production workspaces following the tenant architecture strategy and monitoring for sustainable adoption and growth.   

Essential Skills: 
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored solutions. 
Connect to various data sources (ex: SSMS, Dataverse, SharePoint), perform data transformations, create reusable assets (ex: SQL stored procedures, views, PBI data models) as foundational elements in the workspace.    
Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and business trends. 
Automate routine reporting processes to enhance efficiency and maintain data accuracy. 
Monitor the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards and optimize them for better scalability and user experience. 
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data used across all reporting platforms. 

Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. 
Master's degree in data science, computer science, or similar.  
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field with in-depth experience with PowerBI 
Expert knowledge of SQL, DAX and experience working with large datasets, RLS, calculation groups, and data pipelines. 
Expertise in analyzing data to create meaningful insights and visualizations. 
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, quality, and security needs. 
Strong communication and collaboration skills to gather requirements and present findings.
