Position Overview

We are actively building a pipeline of experienced Data Analysts to support upcoming federal government programs across defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies.

The Data Analyst supports federal government clients by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data to drive informed decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and proficiency in data tools, databases, and reporting platforms.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting federal environments, understands data governance standards, and can translate complex datasets into actionable insights for program leadership and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple federal systems and databases
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support program and leadership decision-making
  • Perform data validation, quality assurance, and integrity checks
  • Support data modeling, trend analysis, and predictive analytics as required
  • Extract and manipulate data using SQL and other query languages
  • Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define data requirements
  • Support performance metrics development and reporting (KPIs, SLAs, operational dashboards)
  • Identify data trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
  • Ensure compliance with federal data governance, security, and privacy standards
  • Document methodologies, data sources, and analytical processes
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
  • Experience supporting federal government or regulated environments preferred
  • Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience working with large-scale federal data systems or enterprise data warehouses
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata standards
