ORGANIZATION SUMMARY
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Systems Specialist designs and delivers impactful Power BI dashboards and data visualizations, while maintaining strong data models, DAX measures, and documentation. It also provides hands-on Dynamics 365 support to ensure effective system adoption across the network. 
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Power BI Development, Data Visualization & Impact Storytelling 
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets aligned to organizational goals. 
  • Create clear, engaging Power BI visuals that tell the story of our mission, programs, and impact.
  • Develop executive- and stakeholder-facing dashboards that highlight progress, outcomes, and trends.
  • Apply data visualization and UX best practices to ensure reports are accessible, intuitive, and meaningful.
  • Collaborate with programs, operations, and leadership teams to translate questions into actionable insights.
  • Maintain data models, DAX measures, and calculated fields to support reusable reporting. ·    
  • Create the necessary documentation on both the user help center and the team development guide.  
  • Dynamics 365 Support
  • Provide support for Dynamics issues reported by home office and field office staff. 
  • Maintain the Dynamics Help Center, which includes creating demonstration videos, updating the online user guide, and creating release notes. 
  • Participate in all tasks relating to enhancement testing, solution testing, and user acceptance testing of Dynamics 365.
  • Any other administration or system support tasks assigned by supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
  • Minimum 2-year professional development experience in Power BI.
  • Strong experience creating Power BI visuals that communicate insights and tell a compelling story.
  • Understanding of impact measurement, KPIs, or outcomes-based reporting.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365, Relational Databases, SharePoint, Office365, Teams, and Outlook required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology related field or equivalent work experience. 
  • Proficiency in English – speaking and writing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must possess technical knowledge of Power BI report development including data structuring, Power Query, basic M language, basic DAX, and using the data to tell stories with compelling visuals.
  • Ability to act independently, manage potentially diverse stakeholder needs and priorities, and follow-through with results.
  • Strong technology proficiency, and repository management skills.
  • Must have an interest in continuous learning and improvement.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Excellent document editing, formatting, and publication skills. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate and work effectively with remote, cross-cultural teams. 
  • Ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrates analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. 
  • Demonstrates success with significant multi-tasking, including successful task management, managing the needs of multiple individuals, and meeting deadlines.
  • High level of initiative and motivation are required as well as the ability to work with other staff and bring about consensus. 
  • Creative and dynamic, contributing ideas and suggestions to the team.
  • Understanding the non-profit industry, including faith-based organizations; actual experience in an NGO is preferable.
