Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Radiant Life Counseling Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to understand their unique challenges and strengths.
  • Providing individualized and family therapy tailored to the identified needs of each client, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment.
  • Completing essential administrative tasks such as billing, documentation, creating individualized treatment plans, and processing insurance authorization forms promptly.
  • Developing and implementing crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans aimed at helping clients maintain stable functioning.
  • Creating comprehensive discharge plans to facilitate smooth transitions for clients upon completion of therapy.
  • Maintaining compliance with all current federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and NEHS policies and procedures.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance your counseling skills and knowledge.
  • Participating in case consultation and agency meetings to collaborate with colleagues and stay informed on best practices.
  • Completing all necessary licensure and mandatory training to uphold the highest standards in mental health care.
