Backed by one of the nation's top 10 fiber networks, Fidium is driven by a team of 2,500 employees. We champion innovation, integrity, and continuous improvement-empowering every team member to make a meaningful impact.

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled EDW Data & Analytics BI Product Manager to drive delivery and enhancement of data and analytics capabilities within our Telecom Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). This role bridges business and technical teams-translating business needs into data and reporting solutions that deliver actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of telecom business processes and KPIs, combined with hands-on understanding of data modeling, BI development, and analytics platforms across the FiveTran, Snowflake, Matillion, Tableau, and Secoda technology stack.

Responsibilities

Product & Delivery Management

  • Serve as the product owner for Telecom EDW and BI capabilities-defining, prioritizing, and delivering a roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead requirement gathering and elaboration for data, reporting, and analytics use cases across functions such as network, customer, billing, sales, and operations.
  • Manage backlog, sprint planning, and delivery milestones for EDW and BI initiatives.
  • Coordinate with data engineers, data modelers, and BI developers to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of solutions.

Stakeholder & Business Engagement

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and value realization.
  • Partner with business units to define key metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards.
  • Conduct data-driven discussions to validate requirements, interpret analytics outputs, and communicate insights.
  • Translate complex data concepts into business-friendly language for executive and operational stakeholders.

Analytics, Reporting & Visualization

  • Oversee design, development, and deployment of dashboards and reports in Tableau, ensuring accuracy, usability, and consistency across the organization.
  • Define and maintain data definitions, hierarchies, and governance standards in collaboration with data management teams.
  • Partner with business analysts to enhance self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of standardized BI assets to promote a single source of truth.

Technical & Data Understanding

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on data ingestion and transformation pipelines (FiveTran, Matillion, Snowflake).
  • Understand and guide data modeling principles (staging, core, and presentation layers) to support analytical and reporting needs.
  • Leverage Secoda for data cataloging, lineage documentation, and metadata management.
  • Contribute to data quality initiatives, ensuring trust in analytics outputs.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with the data governance function to ensure alignment with enterprise data standards and compliance policies.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, data reuse, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor BI system performance and user adoption; propose enhancements where needed.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI Product Management, or Data Product Ownership-preferably within the Telecom sector.
  • Proven experience with:
    • Tableau (dashboard design, visualization best practices)
    • Snowflake (understanding of schema, performance, and data organization)
    • FiveTran and Matillion (familiarity with ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines)
    • Secoda (data catalog and documentation management) or similar tool
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables).
  • Experience defining and tracking Telecom KPIs (subscriber metrics, churn, ARPU, network utilization, etc.).
  • Solid grasp of SQL and ability to interpret or validate analytical queries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and prioritize competing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management practices.
  • Previous experience supporting a Telecom EDW or analytics transformation program.
  • Exposure to data observability, dbt, or data quality frameworks is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect technical capabilities with business value.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Passionate about data-driven decision-making and business intelligence excellence.
