Resilient Roots Center is on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This role is remote, allowing for flexibility in meeting with clients and collaborating with team members from various locations. Our virtual setting is equipped with modern tools and technology to facilitate communication and care coordination, ensuring that you can effectively support our clients, engage in team collaboration, and maintain productivity. The school environment will also be your primary focus, contributing to the mental health of young learners and their families.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs, providing an initial diagnosis, and develop tailored care plans.
• Engage in individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices to support emotional wellness and recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care coordination and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Monitor client progress through ongoing evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and support clients during critical moments, assessing risk and ensuring safety.
• Compile and maintain detailed case notes and documentation to track client progress and outcomes, adhering to ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings and committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in social work and mental health interventions.

This position primarily serves children and adolescents in underserved educational settings, where you will support students facing significant mental health challenges. Our diverse client base includes individuals from various backgrounds, each with unique needs and cultural contexts. Your role will involve not just therapeutic intervention, but also advocacy for resources that can provide broader support to students and their families.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Illinois.
• A bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least two years of direct clinical experience providing mental health services, particularly in school or community settings.
• Deep knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies for mental health disorders.
• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and management.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to convey complex ideas and collaborate effectively.

• Experience working with youth populations and understanding the intricacies of developmental psychology.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and practices.
• Knowledge of community resources available for under-served populations.
• Competency in engaging with culturally diverse populations while respecting their unique backgrounds and needs.
