About You

The Position
The Digital Editor works with all digital content, including website, social media, sponsored content and e-newsletters. This position develops and distributes content to promote the brand.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is 60k-65k, with final compensation determined by factors including experience, qualifications, location, and overall fit for the role. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Primary Responsibilities
• Lead digital editorial strategy across multiple energy and infrastructure brands
• Edit, publish, and optimize daily news articles, features, and newsletters for maximum reach
• Develop SEO-rich headlines and metadata to enhance visibility and reader engagement
• Coordinate cross-brand coverage, homepage priorities, and content pipelines
• Analyze performance metrics (traffic, open rates, CTRs) to refine editorial decisions
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and podcast teams on cross-platform initiatives
• Mentor and support editors in best practices for digital publishing and analytics
• Assist the editor-in-chief in editorial work, including working with contributors
Attending conferences, events and association meetings
Requirements
Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing or related field preferred
  • Basic understanding of the oil and gas value industry
  • Proven experience in production of digital media content
  • Outstanding writing, editing, SEO and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with CMS software, Umbraco, or similar. Must be fluent in MS Office.
  • Ability to analyze trends/analytics and adjust operations to boost web/social traffic
