We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead and scale key areas of our platform. This person will be responsible for driving both short-term product execution and contributing to long-term strategic direction, all while working cross-functionally across engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams. You'll serve as the connective tissue between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring our products deliver measurable value to users. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious, collaborative, organized, customer focused, and excited to learn.  You don't need to be an expert in research compliance. What matters most is your ability to ask good questions, understand problems, work with others, and turn what you learn into thoughtful product decisions.   The right person will have an opportunity to grow their product management skills while gaining deep knowledge of a complex and important industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of customer workflows, business needs, challenges, and product requirements through direct interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to product roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and product planning activities.
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions, requirements discussions, product demonstrations, and feedback meetings.
  • Analyze customer requests to identify underlying needs and broader product opportunities.
  • Partner with engineering, design, quality assurance, implementation, customer success, support, sales, and other teams to support product delivery.
  • Translate customer and business requirements into clear product documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other development requirements.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, product reviews, testing, and release activities.
  • Support the team in ensuring that delivered functionality addresses defined customer and business objectives.
  • Establish productive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate product requirements, priorities, decisions, and status updates clearly and professionally.
  • Help manage expectations regarding product capabilities, priorities, and delivery timelines.

 Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management.
  • Skilled in working within Agile development environments, across distributed teams.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional initiatives with engineering, sales, marketing, and support.
  • Highly curious and analytical, with a strong ability to translate user and business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Experience working with established or legacy software products.
  • familiarity with product management and development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar platforms. 
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, databases, or software development concepts.
  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies and their potential application to enterprise products
