Familiarity with SCADA systems, remote monitoring tools, and compliance software is typically required. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for identifying and responding to anomalies. They use specialized computer software and control systems to oversee pipeline operations from a centralized location, often far from the physical pipeline site.
