Illumia was built on the collective expertise of two legacy cultures, and brings together people, technology, and insight to pioneer the art of the experience across the communities we serve. Be a part of this exciting organization and improving the lives of people doing mission-critical work.

This position remote. Our local offices are in Alpharetta, GA and Scottsdale, AZ.

Alpharetta, GA - 1125 Sanctuary Parkway, Ste 220, Alpharetta, GA 30009

Scottsdale, AZ - 18700 N. Hayden Rd, Ste 230, Scottsdale, AZ 85255

Why join our team?

We strive to provide the best customer experience in the industry and have succeeded with a single, strong motivating principle: We serve our user community.

Our success and growth are directly attributed to our people. Our newly named company is dedicated to fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and continuous personal development. We maintain an entrepreneurial spirit, where creativity, innovative problem-solving, and learning agility drive our day-to-day actions.

What you will be doing:

Job Summary / Purpose

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key, independent financial partner to Illumia's Services and Supply Chain organizations including Services Implementation, Customer Support, Supply Chain, and Procurement. Sitting within the FP&A team, this role owns budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the functions it supports; applies in-depth FP&A expertise together with working knowledge of Services and Supply Chain operations to solve complex, often ambiguous problems; and serves as a business expert to FP&A regarding these functional areas. The role partners with general managers and senior leaders building consensus on difficult tradeoffs to influence decisions and drive operational performance across a fast-changing, post-merger environment.

Who you will work with:

This role partners closely with general managers and senior leaders across the Services and Supply Chain organizations. It sits within the FP&A team and collaborates cross-functionally with Accounting and other business partners to build reporting packages and support monthly and quarterly business reviews with senior leadership. This role has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Act as a trusted, independent financial partner to business leaders across Services and Supply Chain, delivering financial insights, aligning on strategic goals, and supporting high-impact decision-making with minimal oversight.
  • Lead the development of financial models to support business planning, evaluate strategic initiatives, and conduct complex ad hoc analyses, exercising judgment to weigh multiple sources of information and recommend a course of action.
  • Own budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple functions end-to-end, continuously refining financial assumptions with evolving business dynamics and improving forecast accuracy by exercising independent judgment and partnering with stakeholders.
  • Develop and automate dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs, uncover trends, and surface actionable insights across own team and related functions; lead variance analysis to identify key drivers and translate them into operational decisions.
  • Create and present reporting packages for senior leadership, explaining complex or sensitive financial results and building consensus during monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Dive into complex datasets to transform swaths of data into meaningful insights that drive smart business decisions.
  • Take ownership of ongoing programs and processes with minimal oversight, proactively streamlining and elevating them to ensure scalable, reliable, and insightful financial reporting in a post-merger environment.
  • Serve as a go-to resource both within FP&A and across functions, helping business partners understand how Services and Supply Chain operations translate into financial results.
  • Apply working knowledge of Supply Chain, Procurement, and Services Implementation operations, along with awareness of market and competitive dynamics, to connect financial results to operational drivers.

What You'll Bring:

The requirements below reflect what we look for in this role to be successful.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in FP&A, management consulting, or public and managerial accounting, with a track record of working independently and leading complex analyses.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a drive for accuracy.
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to translate data into stories.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical thinker with a high degree of precision and critical reasoning.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal direction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an Enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Experience with Datarails, Microsoft Dynamics D365, and/or Power BI.
  • Experience with Claude, Copilot, or other AI tools.
  • Experience supporting Implementation and/or Supply Chain functions is a plus.

Essential Functions of the job:

The duties and responsibilities described in this job description are intended to represent the essential functions of the position as defined under applicable federal, state, and local labor laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These functions are the fundamental job duties required for successful performance.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions unless such accommodations impose an undue hardship on the organization.

This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities. Duties may be added, removed, or modified at any time in accordance with business needs and applicable law.

What is good to know:

Competencies and Behaviors

  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management — builds trust and credibility with business leaders across multiple functions and works to build consensus on difficult or sensitive issues.
  • Adaptability — comfortable operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ownership and initiative — proactively identifies and drives process improvements rather than waiting to be directed.
  • Business acumen and critical thinking — connects financial data to operational drivers and business outcomes.
  • Clear communication and storytelling with data — presents complex analysis in a way that resonates with senior leadership.
  • Independent judgment and complex problem-solving — analyzes multiple sources of information to develop and recommend solutions with minimal oversight.
  • Mentorship and knowledge-sharing — acts as a go-to resource for colleagues, elevating team capability.

Our leaders are Humble, Hungry, and Smart:

  • Humble: The right leaders for Illumia don't need to own the spotlight — they share credit, define success collectively, and are quick to elevate the contributions of others. This is a company that still writes its story. The leaders who thrive here find energy in building something together, not in being recognized as the smartest person in the room.
  • Hungry: We are not looking for caretakers. We are looking for leaders who are restless about what's possible, self-motivated to close the gap between where we are today and where we need to be, and who are already thinking about the next opportunity before anyone asks.
  • Smart: At Illumia, our leaders must operate across a complex, distributed organization spanning multiple product lines, two legacy cultures, and thousands of customers with competing priorities. Technical skills matter, but the ability to read a room, build trust across functions, and bring people along is what separates a great leader from one who burns the organization out.

This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state wage-and-hour laws.

What you get when you join our team:

  • Flexible time off to include paid holidays and volunteer time.
  • Robust health, dental, and vision insurance plans on your first day of employment
  • Employer-paid life insurance/AD&D/short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Comprehensive employee assistance program (EAP)
  • Flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA)
  • Matched 401(k)
  • Employee stock purchase plan

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with Illumia's Candidate Privacy Notice
