Why this job is exciting

Are you ready to elevate your career by leading enterprise-level technology transformation? As an Enterprise Account Executive at NexusTek, you’ll engage directly with senior executives, shaping the IT strategies of some of the nation’s most dynamic organizations. You’ll drive high-value opportunities across cloud, cybersecurity, and AI—including our Managed Intelligence practice, where you’ll help clients envision and adopt AI agent solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. This isn’t a role where you hand off technical conversations to an architect and wait. You’ll be the one connecting business problems to multi-service solutions in real time, designing creative engagement strategies, and owning the vision from first meeting to signed contract. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a technical seller who thrives on closing complex deals and building long-term enterprise partnerships.

Who you are

You are a technical seller with strong executive presence—someone who lives at the intersection of business strategy and technical possibility. You don’t wait for a solutions architect to tell you what’s possible; you already know, because you’ve spent enough time in the weeds to understand how cloud, AI, and security capabilities map to real business outcomes. You’re a natural hunter who can walk into a discovery session, hear a CFO describe margin pressure, and mentally connect that to a FinOps engagement, a Managed Intelligence pilot, or a security modernization play—without needing a pre-built playbook. You thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment where creative problem-solving and consultative selling fuel success.

You know how to:

Independently scope and design high-level solution frameworks during client conversations—stitching together cloud, security, and AI services into cohesive business cases without relying on pre-built playbooks.

• Drive net-new enterprise sales while expanding relationships within assigned strategic accounts.

• Conduct executive-level discovery sessions that uncover business priorities and translate them into multi-service NexusTek engagements on the spot.

• Build compelling financial business cases that clearly articulate ROI, competitive advantage, and time-to-value.

• Lead the sales cycle for multi-million-dollar deals spanning hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, and AI/ML platforms—including Managed Intelligence (AI agent services).

• Translate emerging capabilities—especially agentic AI and applied AI/ML—into concrete, client-specific use cases that resonate with C-suite buyers.

• Manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and execute against a defined territory and account plan.

• Collaborate with solution architects, delivery teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful adoption—but own the technical vision in client-facing conversations.

• Expand NexusTek’s reach by building strategic channel, alliance, and referral partnerships.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of IT sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota in enterprise or mid-market accounts.

• Proven ability to close complex transactions with $1M+ TCV.

• Deep experience in consultative selling to C-suite and line-of-business leaders.

• Demonstrated ability to creatively combine services into solutions—you’ve built proposals that stitched together cloud, security, and AI into a cohesive business case, not just sold a single product line.

• Strong working knowledge across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity (SOC, MDR, Zero Trust, compliance-driven solutions), hybrid infrastructure (VMware, Nutanix, containerization), Microsoft 365, and networking/storage/backup/cyber recovery.

• Familiarity with generative AI, applied AI/ML platforms, and the emerging AI agent ecosystem.

Nice to Have

• Experience selling managed services or working within an MSP environment.

• Background in channel or alliance sales alongside direct enterprise selling.

• Vertical expertise in regulated industries such as life sciences, financial services, or hospitality.

• Exposure to FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or IT modernization consulting.

• Familiarity with AI governance, acceptable use policies, or AI Centers of Excellence.
