This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing for a flexible schedule to accommodate both standard hours and occasional evening shifts. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, employing a variety of diagnostic tools to understand their conditions and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services individually, as well as in group and family formats, addressing an array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more.
• Collaborate closely with other health care providers, including case managers and psychiatrists, ensuring all aspects of a client’s well-being are considered and coordinated properly.
• Offer crisis intervention strategies when clients encounter acute mental health crises, utilizing your skills to provide immediate support and intervention in emergencies.
• Participate in community outreach and educational efforts aimed at elevating mental health awareness and combating stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Our team serves a diverse population, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your role is crucial in helping to bridge gaps in mental health services, particularly among underrepresented groups in the Aurora community.

• Active and independent licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with diverse clients.
• Cultural competence is essential, allowing you to effectively engage with individuals from varied backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to ensure precise documentation and timely follow-ups with clients.

While a minimum of two years of direct mental health counseling experience is required, candidates with specific expertise in areas such as trauma-informed care, LGBTQ+ communities, or substance abuse recovery will be highly regarded. Experience in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment is also a plus.
