Job Summary:

The Instructional Designer position is responsible for designing and developing learning interventions, including instructor-led and eLearning courses using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) Methodology. Manages the design of training resources needed to effectively train employees within a diverse footprint (brick and mortar, remote, and contract employees) of the organization.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop eLearning, instructor-led, and blended learning training materials, including facilitator support guides, end user guides, and other learning activities as needed for assigned training projects
  • Work independently and on teams to design training materials, acting in the role of lead designer
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on new course and exam development
  • Assiste in maintaining and updating existing courses
  • Build performance measurement tests and evaluation instruments to measure and report the effectiveness of training
  • Ensure consistency and compliance in training programs
  • Practice core4 values in all operational processes and procedures

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of learning design and development experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), Articulate 360, Adobe Suite, Cornerstone OnDemand
  • Proficient in eLearning design and development.
  • Proficient in video, photo, and audio editing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skillset, including project scoping
  • Possess strong quality decision-making skills 
  • Must be flexible, manage change and ambiguity well, have strong organizational skills, and should be creative and solution-oriented
  • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
  • Review evaluation data to assess the effectiveness of training programs and implements recommendations for improvements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
