Key Responsibilities

• Conduct video counseling sessions, ensuring a safe and respectful space for open dialogue with clients.
• Perform ongoing assessments to monitor client progress, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Facilitate the growth of coping mechanisms, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills among clients through targeted therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults experiencing low-acuity mental health challenges. Clients typically include those dealing with anxiety, mild depression, adjustment issues, and life transitions. Your role is vital in helping these individuals develop strategies to manage their symptoms and improve overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• A current state license, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD, with independent licensure permitting practice without supervision.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your license.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and rapport building with clients.
• Proficient in technology, with the ability to navigate virtual counseling platforms and stable Wi-Fi connectivity for seamless communications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth setting, understanding the nuances and benefits of virtual counseling.
• Demonstrated experience working with low-acuity adult clients in a clinical or community setting.
• Ability to use various therapeutic approaches, tailoring your methodology to fit client needs.
• Previous experience with minimal administrative duties, allowing for a focus on direct client care.
