Your Impact

The Lead Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of enterprise billing platforms. This role is responsible for solving complex technical and operational challenges, translating business objectives into effective system solutions, and guiding crossfunctional teams across the full system and software lifecycle.You will bring deep expertise in highperformance, transactional billing systems and act as a senior technical leader on largescale, missioncritical initiatives. Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, sound business judgment, and the ability to independently drive solutions that align technology execution with broader organizational goals.

What the Role Offers

  • Lead the endtoend analysis, design, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of billing and invoicing systems to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Own complex production support activities, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, and the delivery of effective fixes or workarounds.
  • Oversee daily and monthly batch processing, system interfaces, and billing data reconciliation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and timeliness.
  • Drive system reliability, scalability, performance tuning, and data integrity across all billing processes.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve monitoring, and enhance alerting capabilities.
  • Support and lead the migration of applications, integrations, and data flows into the Cloud Billing environment.
  • Partner with Product Owners and delivery teams to support sprint planning, estimation, backlog prioritization, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a senior technical mentor by providing Tier 2 support, guiding Tier 1 teams, coordinating with remote teams, and delivering technical documentation and knowledgesharing sessions.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant practical experience.
  • Around 8 years of experience in systems analysis, technical development, or enterprise application support, spanning analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance of largescale systems.
  • Strong understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprisescale solutions and leading or contributing to complex system and data migration initiatives.
  • Handson experience across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments, with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming and scripting languages such as Shell scripting, Python, Perl, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, .NET, Bash,
  • Experience working with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, SAP/Sybase ASE, or similar platforms.
  • Solid background in transactional billing systems, financial processes, or general accounting practices.
  • Experience integrating billing platforms with CRM, ERP, and payment systems such as Salesforce, SAP, or Zuora.
  • Experience using automation and AIenabled tools in production support environments; exposure to Vertex tax module billing interfaces is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $98,080 - $147,120; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
