The Center for Discovery Counseling, Ltd is seeking dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to join our dynamic team in providing essential mental health support remotely for students in Carson City, Nevada. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively to deliver personalized care to youth and their families, helping them navigate various personal and social challenges. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while maintaining a structured schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on youth, including adolescents facing various social and emotional issues within a school setting. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing mental health challenges that affect academic performance, social interactions, and overall well-being. You will play a pivotal role in promoting mental health initiatives within schools, guiding students through stressors such as academic pressures, family dynamics, and social relationships.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing mental health support, with a solid foundation in clinical evaluation and intervention planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, crucial for effective virtual engagement with clients and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
