The Center for Discovery Counseling, Ltd is seeking dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to join our dynamic team in providing essential mental health support remotely for students in Carson City, Nevada. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively to deliver personalized care to youth and their families, helping them navigate various personal and social challenges. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while maintaining a structured schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

As a Remote LCSW, you will engage with clients through online platforms, ensuring a comfortable and accessible therapeutic environment. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, counselors, and educational staff, promoting a cohesive approach to client care that aligns with best practices in the field.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify emotional, psychological, and social needs, utilizing evidence-based evaluation methods.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, adapting strategies based on ongoing evaluations of client progress.
• Lead therapeutic interventions via telehealth platforms, ensuring that care is flexible and tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Empower clients and their families with resources and educational materials that enhance mental health literacy and coping strategies.
• Contribute to team meetings, offering insights and strategies to enhance collective client outcomes through multilateral case discussions.
• Stay abreast of advancements in mental health research and practice, incorporating innovative techniques into your therapeutic approaches.

This position focuses primarily on youth, including adolescents facing various social and emotional issues within a school setting. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing mental health challenges that affect academic performance, social interactions, and overall well-being. You will play a pivotal role in promoting mental health initiatives within schools, guiding students through stressors such as academic pressures, family dynamics, and social relationships.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health support, with a solid foundation in clinical evaluation and intervention planning.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, crucial for effective virtual engagement with clients and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage a diverse client caseload efficiently and effectively.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical or school setting, specifically supporting children or adolescents.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery methodologies.
• Experience in crisis intervention and prevention strategies.
