Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide psychotherapy services to a diverse range of clients facing various mental health conditions. Specific tasks include:

• Conducting detailed clinical assessments to gather in-depth information about clients' mental health history, presenting issues, and social circumstances.
• Developing personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, focusing on techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Administering therapeutic interventions and monitoring client progress to ensure effective outcomes and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintaining comprehensive and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to deliver coordinated care.
• Participating in routine case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing therapeutic practices and client outcomes.
• Providing educational resources and support to patients and their families regarding mental health treatment options and community resources available to them.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in mental health therapy and incorporate these insights into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children to older adults, facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Our clinic embraces a strengths-based approach, emphasizing client empowerment and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Connecticut.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience focusing on psychotherapy.
• Strong skills in solution-focused interventions and therapeutic frameworks.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
• Proficient problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to treatment and client care.
• A collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively within a remote team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in hospice care settings, providing therapy to patients facing end-of-life issues, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide:
