• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health concerns and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver effective individual therapy sessions using recognized evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically tailored to meet client needs.
• Establish and monitor therapeutic goals with clients through regular progress check-ins, adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Offer teletherapy options, utilizing secure platforms that ensure client confidentiality and comfort while meeting accessibility needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring comprehensive records of client interactions and treatment progress.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Synchrony, you will work with a varied client population, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and relationship concerns. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and cultures; therefore, cultural competence and empathy are vital in fostering trust and rapport.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong therapeutic relationships and enhance client engagement.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to dealing with clients’ diverse experiences and challenges.
• Adept organizational and time-management skills to handle a full caseload effectively while meeting administrative responsibilities.

• Experience conducting therapy in a remote or flexible setting.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic methods, particularly in modalities applicable to anxiety and trauma-focused care.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate seamless documentation and client management.
