Customer Experience | Sales Support Specialist

Location: Parish, NY (Remote)

Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 DOE + Bonus potential

About the Role

World Fuel is seeking a Customer Experience & Sales Support Specialist to support our Bulk Fuel Sales team and serve as a key point of contact for customers and internal business partners.

In this role, you will play an important part in delivering an exceptional customer experience by supporting customer onboarding, account maintenance, sales operations, reporting, and day-to-day customer service activities. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Credit, Tax, Marketing, Customer Setup, and other internal teams to ensure customer needs are addressed quickly and accurately.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, coordinating multiple priorities, and supporting both customers and sales teams in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Bulk Sales Team.

  • Support new customer onboarding, account setup, account maintenance, and customer documentation.

  • Process customer and account updates within Salesforce, OTS, and other internal systems.

  • Manage customer requests and help coordinate timely resolution of issues.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email while delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Manage and monitor shared team inboxes and customer communications.

  • Conduct proactive customer outreach and account wellness calls.

  • Prepare and distribute operational, sales, and customer-related reports.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure data integrity across systems.

  • Coordinate with Credit, Tax, Operations, Marketing, Customer Setup, and other internal teams to support customer needs.

  • Support special programs, including the Nantucket Reservation Program and seasonal customer initiatives.

  • Assist with invoicing, funding requests, and other sales support activities.

  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience working in business aviation and/or fuel industries.

  • Experience in customer service, sales support, account support, inside sales, administrative support, or a related role.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Comfortable learning and utilizing CRM and business systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting sales teams or customer accounts.

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

  • Experience working in business aviation and/or fuel industries.
