We are seeking an experienced PDM Administrator / Support Specialist with hands-on knowledge of SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault, or similar Product Data Management systems, along with experience supporting CAD software tools. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day support for PDM systems and CAD applications, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting engineering teams with system usage, and helping maintain an efficient engineering design environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and experienced in supporting engineering software platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support for PDM systems and CAD software tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to PDM and CAD applications
  • Assist engineering teams with system usage and loopl technical support needs
  • Monitor system performance and help identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve software-related issues
  • Support system updates, testing, and maintenance activities
  • Help ensure reliable operation of engineering software environments
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault, or similar PDM systems
  • Experience supporting CAD software tools in an engineering environment
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to support end users and resolve software-related issues effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, or product development environment
  • Familiarity with PDM and CAD system administration or support best practices
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering and IT teams
  • Understanding of engineering design processes and software support needs
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA/ WA/NY/CO/MD/IL/MN/NJ: $73,000 to $102,200.
In Washington, DC: $66,100 to $100,200
