Job description

Brown University Health-affiliated hospital-based practice in the Southcoast MA / Providence, RI area seeks a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist with fellowship training or strong interest in Breast Imaging.

Position overview

  • Mix of diagnostic and interventional breast imaging with some general diagnostic radiology.
  • Combination of on-site procedures (stereo and ultrasound-guided biopsies, localizations) and extensive remote reading opportunities; ability to work multiple consecutive weeks remotely.
  • Optional academic involvement: teaching medical students through Brown University Health.
  • Collaborative, patient-centered team with a dedicated nurse navigator.

Clinical schedule and environment

  • Flexible scheduling: full-time or part-time options.
  • Typical shift: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Hospital-based practice with advanced imaging technology and VRad reading platform (efficient PACS).
