This full-time role is 100% remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a work-life balance. The position operates during standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a structured yet adaptable work schedule.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, understanding their unique backgrounds and experiences.
• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific mental health needs, goals, and personal preferences, ensuring treatments are aligned with their aspirations.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, self-care strategies, and available treatment options, empowering them with necessary knowledge to manage their conditions.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress systematically, adjusting treatment methods as needed to optimize their mental health outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, integrating therapeutic and pharmacological strategies effectively.
• Stay informed on the latest research and evidence-based practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance clinical skills and treatment efficacy.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and care plans, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster collaborative problem-solving and share best practices within the team.
• Serve as a mental health advocate to reduce stigma around mood disorders in the community, actively promoting awareness and understanding.

The primary patient population consists of individuals facing mood disorders including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of clients by delivering empathetic and skillful therapeutic support, thus potentially improving their quality of life and mental wellbeing.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly focused on mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
• An understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with prescribing medical professionals.
• A proven track record of successful treatment outcomes in the field of mental health counseling.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish a trusting rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Previous experience working in telehealth settings, which would enhance the efficiency of remote patient care.
• Experience with varied therapeutic techniques tailored specifically to mood disorders.
• Involvement in community outreach or advocacy work related to mental health.
