  • Direct end-to-end platform enablement, including documentation, user training, hands-on support, and participation in implementation and future enhancement solutioning.

  • Lead enterprise documentation standards for platform configuration, ensuring consistency and traceability across systems and providing technical oversight and future roadmaps for integration initiatives at scale.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders, translating platform needs into actionable priorities and shaping outcomes across functions.

  • Drive platform performance analysis frameworks, leading cross-functional efforts to optimize scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

  • Orchestrate cross-functional incident management and drive systemic improvements in platform stability and uptime.

  • Lead enterprise release governance and readiness across VLP and PLM platforms, integrating automation and continuous delivery practices.

  • Lead quality governance and data integrity workflows, establishing metrics and automation that ensure performance, compliance, and reliable data flows for downstream decision-making.

  • Collaborate with Product Technology leadership and peer platform managers to shape priorities, navigate cross-platform dependencies, and make decisions that support the broader product technology ecosystem.

  • As an individual contributor, conduct your work in alignment with Patagonia's Leadership Expectations - Leading Self principles: Build People + Teams, Drive Results, Demonstrate Good Judgment.

Who You Are:

  • Solution-Oriented: Balances business priorities and technical tradeoffs, translating complex needs into sustainable architectures that serve the broader organization.

  • User-Centric: Prioritizes the end-user experience, establishing documentation standards, training frameworks, and support practices that help people get the most from the platforms they depend on.

  • Organized: Manages complex, multi-team projects with precision, adjusting delivery plans as priorities shift while keeping timelines and quality on track.

  • Systems-Minded: Thinks holistically across platforms and domains, spotting structural inefficiencies and connecting improvements to the bigger picture.

  • Collaborative: Builds trust and alignment across teams, navigating competing interests with clarity and ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.

  • Technical: Brings deep, hands-on knowledge of the platforms and systems they manage, grounding decisions in real technical understanding.

  • Passionate: Enthusiastic for saving our home planet and integrates this passion into all aspects of work.

Experience You Bring:

  • 6+ years of platform management, systems administration, or platform operations experience, including leading cross-functional platform configuration, optimization, and delivery across enterprise systems.

  • Experience establishing enterprise documentation standards and quality governance practices for platform configuration, including metrics, traceability, and compliance frameworks.

  • Proven ability to drive platform performance analysis, leading cross-functional optimization efforts to improve scalability and reliability.

  • Experience leading cross-functional incident management and resolution, including root cause analysis and systemic improvement initiatives that strengthen platform stability.

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise release management practices, including governance, readiness processes, automation, and continuous delivery.

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office applications and project management software (e.g. Word, Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, DevOps, JIRA, ClickUp).

  • Experience working within the Apparel, Retail, or Multi-Channel industries is a plus.

  • Experience managing or administering VLP and/or PLM platforms in a product creation environment.

  • Experience in the Apparel or Softgoods industry, with familiarity in product development workflows from concept through production, is a plus.
