The 'remote' aspect typically refers to the ability to receive assignments, manage schedules, and report information electronically rather than in person. Drivers may work for transportation companies, shuttle services, or as independent contractors. Safety, punctuality, and customer service are key aspects of the role. This position may require a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and sometimes special certifications depending on the employer or jurisdiction.
