What is a remote paralegal travel?

Remote paralegal travel jobs are positions where paralegals perform their duties from various locations, often working online or while traveling. These roles involve assisting attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and case management, all managed remotely. Sometimes, paralegals may need to travel for depositions, client meetings, or court filings, but much of the work is done virtually. This job offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from different locations, which can be ideal for individuals who enjoy travel and have strong organizational skills.

How does working as a remote paralegal travel differ from traditional in-office paralegal roles?

As a remote paralegal with travel responsibilities, you’ll handle legal research, document preparation, and case management from various locations, often requiring a high degree of independence and adaptability. Unlike traditional in-office roles, you’ll need to be proficient with digital collaboration tools and manage your tasks across different time zones or client sites. Travel may involve attending court hearings, depositions, or client meetings, so strong organizational skills and flexibility are essential. This role can offer greater autonomy and exposure to diverse legal environments, but also requires self-motivation to meet deadlines and maintain communication with supervising attorneys and legal teams.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote paralegal travel?

To thrive as a Remote Paralegal, you need a solid understanding of legal procedures, research, and documentation, typically supported by a paralegal certificate or associate degree. Familiarity with legal research databases (such as Westlaw or LexisNexis), case management software, and secure communication tools is essential. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and attorneys make someone stand out in this role. These skills ensure accurate legal support, efficient workflow, and client confidentiality, especially when working remotely and potentially across different jurisdictions.

Job description

Does “accurate” matter more to you than “fast”? Can the people who rely on your work count on that every time?

We're seeking a Real Estate Paralegal whose primary focus will be supporting corporate clients — drafting and reviewing purchase orders and brokerage agreements with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The role also involves assisting with commercial closings, including work in closing software.

HOURS & COMPENSATION

  • Estimated hours: approximately 20 hours per week to start, with a clear path to full-time (40 hours per week) as transaction volume grows.

  • Compensation: competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience and demonstrated capability.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Flexible remote work structure

  • A firm that invests in modern technology, AI-assisted workflows, and smart operations

  • A defined growth path — this role starts part-time with a plan to convert to full-time, benefits-eligible employment as the firm's transaction volume increases

Compensation:

$35 - $40 hourly

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will support transactional matters by handling substantive legal work, drafting, and matter management responsibilities, including:

Corporate Client & Contract Support

  • Draft purchase orders, contract riders, and vendor agreements.

  • Prepare initial drafts of brokerage, license, and other property-related contracts for attorney review.

  • Maintain organized contract versions, redlines, and summaries for internal and client reference.

Commercial Closings

  • Assist with the full life cycle of commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing closing documents, coordinating title and closing processes, and preparing settlement statements.

  • Communicate directly with brokers, lenders, and clients to ensure smooth and timely closings.

  • Conduct final document reviews, ensure accuracy of closing packages, and manage post-closing tasks.

Legal Research & Analysis

  • Conduct legal research and prepare concise, practical memoranda regarding real estate and related legal issues.

  • Research and analyze commercial and residential real estate matters, contract interpretation issues, title questions, and transactional risks.

Qualifications:

WHO YOU ARE

The statements below describe the Real Estate Paralegal we're looking for:

  • You bring meticulous attention to detail in drafting and reviewing agreements and closing materials.

  • You have strong organizational and time management skills and can track multiple transactions, deadlines, and counterpart communications simultaneously.

  • You communicate clearly and professionally, in writing and verbally.

  • You are knowledgeable about real estate transaction processes, including title/survey review and commercial closing procedures.

  • You're proficient with Microsoft 365, Adobe/PDF tools, and case or contract management software, and can work efficiently in a remote setting.

  • You have a collaborative, client-service mindset — responsive, reliable, and accountable for your deliverables.

  • You solve problems practically and use sound judgment, asking clarifying questions early and proposing constructive solutions.

  • You bring a professional demeanor and build rapport easily with clients, counterparties, and team members.

  • You have experience with Qualia closing software.

This role is not a fit if you:

  • Need significant hand-holding or step-by-step direction to manage a file.

  • Struggle to juggle multiple transactions and deadlines at once.

  • Are uncomfortable communicating directly with clients, lenders, and brokers.

  • Prefer a rigid 9-to-5 structure over flexible, deadline-driven work.

  • Are uncomfortable with technology or process-driven workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree; paralegal certificate preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a real estate paralegal, ideally supporting both commercial and residential transactions.

  • Must reside in Florida.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Extended periods at a computer; periodic travel for closings as needed.

  • Availability during critical closing windows.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.

  • Ability to communicate effectively over the phone and via video conferencing.
