We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative for the Americas region. This role will be responsible for promoting and selling Kemira products, applications and services to current customer account(s) and identifying new sales opportunities to achieve revenue and margin targets and facilitating technical sales support. This is a remote position located in the Longview/Vancouver area of Washington state.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Servicing existing and new accounts, including on site analysis, troubleshooting, inspection, design and installation of feed and delivery systems as well as any service function related to the sale and maintenance of Kemira product lines.
  • Establishing a business plan with goals and objectives for sales and profits to new and existing business
  • Providing customer with timely service reports
  • Communicating mill requirements/opportunities
  • Providing attention to customer needs and identifying new sales opportunities
  • Monitoring Kemira product and service quality, and addressing issues
  • Resolving customer concerns to customer's satisfaction
  • Maintaining sales information systems and expense reporting systems in a timely and accurate manner
  • Attending appropriate industry conferences and assigned company meetings
  • Developing technical and sales skills by participating in and completing, company approved training programs.
  • Available for customer phone consults evenings and weekends.

What you'll bring to the team:
  • B.S. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and/ or related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 3-5+ years' of industrial sales experience
  • Excellent knowledge of the pulp and paper process
  • Knowledge of Kemira and customer HSE and Process Safety regulatory requirements
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record in assigned geography

The starting salary range for consideration for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 per year with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. The actual starting salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant employment history & experience, skill set/competencies, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, paid time off, life/disability insurance and a 401k retirement plan (which includes a company match).
