We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Mental Health Counselor, holding a current license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health conditions, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, integrating both traditional therapeutic methods and alternative approaches as appropriate to the patient’s unique needs.
• Provide a continuum of care through remote video counseling sessions, offering support to individuals, couples, families, or groups depending on clinical requirements.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate client records, documenting every session, treatment plans, and progress indicators to track the effectiveness of interventions.
• Engage in regular professional development to refine therapeutic skills and stay updated on the latest mental health practices, especially in oncology-related care.
• Participate collaboratively in team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and enhance interdisciplinary care efforts.
• Assist clients in accessing community resources, providing education about available support systems, and facilitating participation in support groups.
• Be proactive in exploring and addressing any barriers that clients may face during their counseling journey.

The Virtual Mental Health Counselor will primarily focus on patients dealing with cancer at various stages, including diagnosis, treatment, recurrence, and post-treatment survivorship. You will cater to a diverse demographic, offering essential emotional and psychological support tailored to the unique challenges faced during this journey. Your role will encompass engaging with patients both individually and in group settings, helping them to articulate their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified through a third-party check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

• Experience working with cancer patients or in oncology settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient management.
• Background in leading or facilitating support groups for patients and caregivers.

This role offers a competitive salary, ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with your caseload and experience.
