  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor to CAD Designer I and II team members through coaching, work product reviews, and training.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement CAD process improvements, drafting standards, and new technologies that improve engineering quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Estimating, Integrated Supply Chain, Construction, Owners, and Engineers of Record to ensure designs support successful project execution from planning through construction.

  • Five or more years of progressive CAD design experience supporting industrial, utility, power generation, EPC, or heavy construction projects.
  • Advanced proficiency using AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
  • Experience in creating detailed construction documentation for multidisciplinary engineering projects.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Experience supporting gas turbine facilities, reciprocating engine generation plants, simple - cycle and combined-cycle power plants, or balance of plant (BOP) systems.
  • Ability to work independently while developing mechanical layouts, equipment arrangements, piping systems, and construction documentation for gas power generation facilities.
  • Experience supporting gas turbine OEMs, reciprocating engine manufacturers, or EPC firms, including equipment integration, auxiliary systems, and mechanical interfaces.
  • Strong background in mechanical equipment layouts, industrial piping systems, utility infrastructure, or power generation projects.
