Ferguson is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Industrial Turnarounds Travel team!
This position travels to various locations across the country to service our Industrial customers with their turnaround projects. Travel assignments can vary in length from 1 to 4 weeks at a time. Travel, lodging and meals are paid for by Ferguson. Work locations include Ferguson warehouses as well as customer sites, including but not limited to oil refineries.
Expect to travel up to 100% of the time based off where you're located. You will need to be wherever the work is, either at a branch or a customer site. Living close to an airport would be ideal if you are not local to Tulsa, OK.
Pay starts at $25 but could be more based on experience
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
  • Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
  • Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
  • Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping the facility clean, safe, and accident free.
  • Requires 70-80% travel to various locations throughout the country for 1 to 4 weeks at a time.
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management in the industrial industry is preferred.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
  • Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
  • Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Must be comfortable with out-of-town travel.

Pay Range:
Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
$21.63 - $32.45
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
