ABOUT SPARK MENTAL HEALTH CLINICS:



Spark Mental Health is a consistently 5 STAR RATED mental health center providing psychiatric services including evaluations, diagnosis, medication management and resources for clients of all ages.


All patient encounters are done via telehealth and all Providers may work from home or any allowable location nationwide.


We primarily treat depression, anxiety and attention deficit disorders for children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. We DO NOT offer emergency services or treat severe mental illness, so there is no on call duties.


Spark's Telepsychiatry Program offers exceptional access to highly skilled and knowledgeable Providers in the comfort of our Patients home, using only a smartphone or other connected device.


We accept self pay AND insured patients.



POSITION DETAILS:


Job Type: Permanent, Full Time


Pay Rate Based on Years of Psych NP Licensure: 


Less than 2 years - $130,000.00 per year
From 2 to 5 years - $140,000.00 per year

More than 5 years - $150,000.00 per year

About the Role:


You will perform duties expected as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to evaluate, diagnose, medicate and managing treatment for Spark patients exclusively via Televideo.


You will be expected to primarily treat Adolescent & Adult ADD/ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety conditions. We do not treat Severe Mental Illness (SMI).


You will be provided with virtual administrative and clinical assistant(s) that will complete all non-clinical duties, so you can focus exclusively on Patient care. Put simply, you will only be required to care for your fully booked appointments and order condition indicated medication(s). No other duties are required.


Spark will provide all computer equipment and resources needed to perform the Telemedicine sessions.


Candidates should:


Desire to work from home via Telemedicine

Have some experience using an EMR System

Be proficient in medication management of psychiatric conditions

Work independently, but with the support of provided Assistant(s)


Required qualifications:


1. Newer PMHNP's are welcome to apply and will be provided Supervision, but a minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience as an independent PMHNP, is preferred

2. Certification to treat both Adults and Children preferred, but not required

3. Prior credentialing with BCBS, AETNA, UNITED HEALTH & CIGNA is preferred, but not required, as we will obtain needed credentialing on your behalf

4. Be adequately insured

5. Possess applicable PMHNP Board Certification(s)

6. One or more active NP State license(s) from a State listed below is required, plus applicable DEA registration for CS prescribing.
