The Opportunity to Cash workstream is a comprehensive end-to-end process that handles the complete cycle of order management, from receiving request for proposals to finalizing the payment and close out. It is designed to optimize and integrate various functions within an organization to streamline and enhance the efficiency of managing customer transactions. This role leads activities to enable strategic initiatives, establish program framework for process design and decision capture, and drives the launch and execution of blueprinting activities.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive business process for the Opportunity to Cash workstream in the following focus areas: customer management, order management, and order pricing.

  • Partner with Digital and business units to evaluate and implement SAP and other tools that complement/enhance process optimization.

  • Partner with workstream leads in the business units to analyze recommendations for blueprinting to enable strategic goals identified in Global Design.

  • Maintain Business Process Hierarchy.

  • Maintain project plan for assigned responsibilities.

  • Lead planning activities to establish scope, timeline, and resource plan for the assigned opportunity to cash business processes.

  • Drive the execution of blueprinting activities inclusive of defining global process designs, standardizing metrics, and reporting, designing common information model, building global template, and testing for readiness.

  • Partner with business units and system integrator to plan and execute activities for the various phases of the project.

  • Ability to travel ~ 10-25% (primarily to RTX sites between Texas & Connecticut)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with large scale system implementation project(s) within SAP.

  • Experience with quote and order management, customer management, order pricing, and returns management.

  • Experience communicating across disciplines and with executive leaders while influencing others to adopt new concepts, practices, and approaches.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Cross-functional knowledge of multiple work areas preferably through advanced education or aerospace and defense experience.

  • CORE (or equivalent) and project management expertise.

  • Understanding of SAP integrations, including critical hand off points, between R2R, O2C, and P2S.

  • Work effectively in a matrixed team environment, collaborating across lines of business and function, while managing multiple activities concurrently.

  • Align and translate strategy into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables; clearly track and report progress to plan at both executive and working team level.

Role Type: Remote

This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
