The Carrier Account Executive is responsible for developing relationships and selling wholesale and carrier services to wireless, IXC, RBOC, CLEC, and other carriers/aggregators. Duties include: identifying new opportunities through prospecting of both existing and new accounts and developing long-term relationships that drive sustainable revenue growth.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success
  • Handling new sales quotes, including formulating contracts, quotations and pricing, product research, customer relations, follow-up, coordinating due dates, placing service orders, managing and communicating test and turn up of circuits, etc.
  • Assist in identifying wholesale opportunities outside of company's current markets.
  • Have a working knowledge of Carrier Ethernet, optical waves, dark fiber, and broadband services.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with transport engineers from various carriers.
  • Designing and creating customer network configurations.
  • Responsible for working with operations to ensure accurate order processing and service delivery.
  • Handling a wide variety of customer support, including resolving billing issues, managing customer inquiries, customer turn-up, and general customer satisfaction and relations.
  • Lead, identify and manage internal communications needs, disseminate information regarding relevant activities and obtain appropriate corporate approvals.
  • Work with sales management, product management, IT, regulatory, corporate marketing, and other inter-departmental stakeholders, by managing resources and timeframes required to complete and recommend customer solutions, requirements, pricing, and implementation.
  • Assures effective communications are maintained within areas of responsibility.
  • Where appropriate, informs employees as to plans in progress.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of Company.

Qualifications - Only candidates who meet minimum qualifications will be considered.
  • Strong sales skills and business acumen required.
  • Minimum 5 years of telecommunications carrier/wholesale sales required.
  • Telecommunications industry experience required.
  • Sales and customer relations skills
