About Us:

M.A. Silva USA is looking for an experienced Account Manager for their Napa - Sonoma Territories to join their highly motivated and fun sales team whose headquarters are located in Santa Rosa. This is a great opportunity for a top performer to join a successful and dynamic local business.

The responsibilities of the position are many and varied. They include but are not limited to the following core responsibilities:

· Identify and pursue new customer opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.

· Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.

· Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries.

· Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts.

· Manage assigned sales territory and maintain CRM and ERP records.

· Communicate product and policy information clearly to clients.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the wine industry and local competition.

· Attend trade events and team sales meetings.

· Submit accurate reports and required client paperwork on time.

· Travel frequently to meet clients, conduct product demos, and manage relationships (minimum 60% field time).

· Track mileage for work-related travel using the MOTUS app.


Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (1–2 years).

· Established relationships with wine industry decision-makers.

· Self-starter with a proactive mindset and commitment to excellence.

· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Effective presenter at all organizational levels.

· Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

· Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams or committees.

· Solid problem-solving and consultative sales skills.

· Strong analytical and math skills (e.g., discounts, commissions, percentages).

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.

· Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with enthusiasm.

· Willingness and ability to travel, manage a flexible schedule, and use tools like MOTUS for mileage tracking.
