We work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology where we solve complex, real-world problems across warehouse design, automation, order management, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain execution.

Our teams combine deep domain expertise with strong technical capability, delivering outcomes through consulting, systems implementation, and proprietary platforms that accelerate time-to-value and reduce delivery risk.

If you enjoy working in complex environments, partnering closely with clients, and seeing your work make a tangible impact on how global commerce moves, this is the place where your skills and judgment truly come to life.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced MALM Configuration Lead Consultant with strong expertise in Manhattan Active Labor Management to lead labor management configuration, solution design, testing, deployment, and stabilization activities across large-scale supply chain transformation programs.

This role requires hands-on experience with Manhattan Labor Management configuration, strong knowledge of warehouse operations, engineered labor standards, workforce performance processes, and the ability to partner with client stakeholders to design scalable labor management solutions.

The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to operations, business, and technical teams while owning key MALM configuration workstreams. This person will help ensure the labor management solution supports productivity tracking, performance visibility, incentive programs, standards management, operational reporting, and continuous improvement goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead MALM configuration workstreams across implementation, enhancement, and transformation projects.
  • Own configuration design for Manhattan Active Labor Management processes, including labor standards, job codes, activity tracking, indirect time, travel time, performance measurement, and productivity reporting.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into scalable MALM configuration solutions.
  • Lead client workshops and design sessions to gather requirements, validate current-state processes, and define future-state labor management workflows.
  • Configure Manhattan Labor Management components to support operational needs across distribution center functions.
  • Partner with warehouse operations teams to understand labor processes across receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, cross-dock, and value-added services.
  • Support labor standard setup, maintenance, validation, and alignment with operational processes.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, integration teams, QA teams, and client stakeholders to ensure end-to-end solution alignment.
  • Review and validate configuration changes to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to implementation standards.
  • Support integration discussions involving WMS, LMS, ERP, timekeeping, workforce management, reporting, and external systems.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including configuration specifications, labor rules, process flows, test scenarios, business requirements, and design artifacts.
  • Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect triage, go-live readiness, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Identify risks, configuration gaps, labor process inefficiencies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and project team members.
  • Act as a key point of contact for MALM configuration-related decisions, risks, escalations, and solution recommendations.
  • Support hypercare and continuous improvement initiatives after deployment.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain systems implementation, labor management, WMS consulting, warehouse operations, or distribution transformation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Labor Management or Manhattan Labor Management configuration.
  • Experience leading labor management configuration workstreams or solution design activities.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse labor processes, productivity tracking, performance measurement, engineered standards, indirect activities, and operational reporting.
  • Experience working with labor standards, job functions, activity codes, time studies, performance expectations, and productivity calculations.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, replenishment, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, cross-docking, and returns.
  • Experience supporting integrations between labor management systems, WMS, ERP, timekeeping, payroll, reporting, or workforce management systems.
  • Strong experience with SIT, UAT, defect resolution, go-live readiness, and post-go-live support.
  • Ability to lead requirements workshops, design discussions, configuration reviews, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage business users, operations leaders, technical teams, project leaders, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management in addition to Manhattan Active Labor Management.
  • Experience with Manhattan SCI reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience with engineered labor standards, labor modeling, workforce planning, or industrial engineering practices.
  • Knowledge of distribution center transportation, parcel, automation, robotics, or warehouse execution systems.
  • Experience working with retail, consumer goods, eCommerce, 3PL, or omnichannel fulfillment environments.
