Are you passionate about designing and building enterprise finance platforms that power critical business operations at scale? Join Pinterest's IT Enterprise Systems team and help shape the future of our Finance technology ecosystem. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of Oracle EBS-based solutions, modern integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities that support our fintech initiatives. This is a highly technical position offering the opportunity to work across Oracle EBS, AWS and emerging internal AI platforms to deliver secure, scalable, and business-critical systems.

What You'll Do:
  • Design, build, and support scalable enterprise solutions across the Oracle EBS and Finance systems landscape, with a strong focus on technical architecture, integrations, and platform reliability.
  • Serve as a senior technical expert for Oracle EBS Financials, driving system design, development, customization, troubleshooting, and optimization across key finance workflows.
  • Lead the development and management of integrations between Oracle EBS and internal/external platforms using APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native integration approaches.
  • Build and enhance finance-related services and integration components leveraging AWS and related cloud technologies to improve scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of in-house Oracle MCP and AI-powered components, enabling smarter automation, faster issue analysis, and improved engineering productivity within the fintech domain.
  • Apply AI thoughtfully as a force multiplier in engineering workflows such as system analysis, documentation, debugging, and automation, while maintaining strong technical judgment and accountability for final outputs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions across Oracle EBS and integration platforms.
  • Drive end-to-end technical solution delivery, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
  • Evaluate current finance system architecture and processes, identifying opportunities to modernize integrations, simplify technical workflows, strengthen controls, and improve maintainability.
  • Ensure strong software development lifecycle practices, change management, and SOX-compliant controls across enterprise finance applications and integration layers.
  • Partner across Finance and IT to support broader ERP modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting Oracle EBS solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing Oracle EBS components, integrations using APIs, web services, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience building or contributing to internal platform capabilities, such as Oracle MCP tools, reusable enterprise components, or AI-enabled engineering tools, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development and enterprise AI use cases, with the ability to validate outputs and apply AI responsibly in regulated, business-critical environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, EBS extension frameworks, reporting tools, and related Oracle development technologies.
  • Experience with middleware and enterprise application architecture, including tools and frameworks such as Oracle SOA Suite, WebLogic, REST APIs, messaging systems, and cloud integration platforms.
  • Solid experience with AWS services and cloud-native development, especially for building integration services, automation components, and scalable backend systems.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across architecture, design, development, issue resolution, release management, and production support.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX controls, audit requirements, security, and change management practices within ERP and financial systems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, IT, platform teams, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving, systems thinking, and engineering judgment, with a track record of delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality enterprise solutions.

Join a forward-thinking team where you will help modernize and scale core finance platforms through a combination of Oracle EBS expertise, cloud engineering, API development, and AI innovation.
