Description

Outpatient Imaging Affiliates (OIA), an owner and operator of over 60+ outpatient imaging center locations in 19 states, is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our amazing accounting team. 


The AP Specialist is responsible for compiling amounts owed by the company to vendors, suppliers, or other organizations/individuals, gathering purchase orders, charge slips, sales tickets etc., and preparing payments. 


This position is:

Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Review, code, and enter invoices/check requests
  • Compile bank information, update daily cash spreadsheets
  • Enter employee expense reports
  • Tie out payables ledger with general ledger at month end
  • Prepare copies of all balance sheet reconciliation items for staff accountants by month end.
  • Prepare weekly invoice batches to be reviewed by Treasury Manager.
  • Match check stubs with invoices and mail.
  • Perform weekly cash reconciliation between bank, cash spreadsheet (AR system), and Oracle.
  • Updates utility spreadsheet on a weekly basis in order to ensure prompt payment and identify missing invoices.
  • Sets up autopay for utility/telephone vendors where possible.
  • Scans weekly AP check stubs and invoice backup.

Requirements

Required Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of One (1) year experience in accounting or related field 
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Ability to prioritize work load and meet deadlines.
