Job description

Mandatory Requirement:
FP&A experience with budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting.
Accounting knowledge, including journal entries, accruals, financial close processes, and financial metadata management.
Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) experience, preferably with Oracle EPM, including planning, forecasting, and financial data management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve financial data discrepancies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and support time-sensitive finance operations during close and forecast cycles.
 
Nice to Have:
Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries for financial data analysis and validation.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar work management/ticketing tools for incident and workflow tracking.
- Experience creating and maintaining business documentation, including process documentation, business requirements (BRDs), SOPs, and user guides.
Experience supporting metadata governance, allocations, or financial systems within a large enterprise environment. Exposure to Oracle PCMCS/PCM, EDM, or other finance master data and allocation platforms.
 
Description: You will help operations by supporting their decision making through your analytics, heavy data driven approach, and operational mindset. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong analytical skills, excellent time-management, priority setting and organizational habits, the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in and excellent team interaction.
You will provide critical surge support across Corporate Finance & Finance Transformation during Planning. You will act as a key hands-on resource to maintain data integrity, resolve end-user inquiries, and ensure seamless system operations during the planning and close cycles.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Close and Metadata Support: Maintain critical metadata and prepare and load managerial adjustment journal entries during the month-end close process.
  • Allocations and Variance Analysis: Provide end-user support for allocations and cost modeling issues. Run variance analysis on allocation rules to troubleshoot and resolve actual vs. forecast inquiries.
  • Data Traceability and Querying: Query Oracle PCM and utilize SQL/SmartView to investigate data traceability, audit cost pools and drivers, and perform source system tie-outs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support the triage of metadata-related incidents, manage process workflows, and address time-sensitive ad-hoc close and forecast questions from finance teams.

Must Have:
  - Working knowledge of Oracle PCM and how to query data
  - Understanding of the relationship between allocations, cost pools, and drivers
  - Ability to support data traceability and investigation
Nice to Have:
  - Basic understanding of corporate finance or accounting
  - Data management and Google Sheets skills
  - Working knowledge of SQL and SmartView
