This full-time remote position involves providing vital substance use and mental health counseling services to youth, adults, and families. As a key member of our outpatient counseling team, you will have the opportunity to positively impact lives while collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment focused on holistic wellness.

About the Organization

We specialize in connecting a diverse array of medical and mental health professionals, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Physicians, to treatment facilities nationwide. At our center, we prioritize the well-being of our clients and offer a supportive environment where our professionals can thrive while contributing to transformative care.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of remote work while being closely connected to a supportive hospice center based in Smyrna, Georgia. Our team encourages collaboration and innovation through virtual platforms that facilitate communication, case discussions, and ongoing professional development. The remote setting enables you to balance personal and professional responsibilities, while remaining fully engaged in meaningful client interactions and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans addressing substance use and mental health challenges.
  • Provide individual and couples therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices to navigate a range of clinical presentations effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all client interactions, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Efficiently manage client scheduling, ensuring ongoing appointments are appropriately organized within your calendar.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians and nursing staff to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.
  • Utilize a billing service to support claims processing, client account management, and eligibility checks, allowing you to focus more on client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client population, including youth, adults, and families facing various challenges, such as substance use disorders, mental health issues, and socio-emotional difficulties. Our commitment to culturally competent care ensures that each client receives individualized attention tailored to their unique backgrounds and experiences, enhancing therapeutic outcomes and promoting lasting recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required; a Master’s or Doctorate is preferred.
  • Current state licensure to practice as a Clinical Social Worker.
  • A minimum of four years of practical experience in clinical social work, including proficiency gained through a master's level practicum or post-graduate work experience.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient counseling or substance use treatment settings is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse clinical populations and adapt therapeutic approaches accordingly.
  • Proficiency in case management and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 annually, plus opportunities for bonuses based on performance. Additional benefits include:

  • Flexible scheduling with options for full-time or part-time work, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
  • 11 paid holidays annually to support personal time and family commitments.
  • Professional development opportunities aimed at enhancing your skills and expanding your expertise in the field of social work.
  • A supportive team culture that prioritizes collaboration and shared goals in achieving superior client outcomes.
