Teen Therapy Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a remote capacity. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs of clients, including adults, teens, families, and groups, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded care and the best possible outcomes for clients, participating in regular case consultations.
  • Engage in professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay current on best practices in mental health and counseling techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an LPC, you will primarily work with adolescents and their families, often addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, and substance abuse. Your ability to establish rapport and trust with clients will be crucial as you guide them through their therapeutic journeys and empower them with effective coping strategies.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, with demonstrated successful outcomes in client treatment.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards in the field of mental health counseling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with a diverse clientele and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
