AspectRemote Optical Coating Engineer

The Remote Optical Coating Engineer focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing optical coatings, often working remotely with engineers and scientists. They require advanced knowledge of optics, materials, and coating processes, typically holding a degree in optical engineering or physics. In contrast, an Optical Coating Technician performs hands-on application and quality control of coatings in a manufacturing environment, usually requiring technical certifications or associate degrees. The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager – Clinic Analytics & Reporting to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and practice analytics features. This role will be based either in Denver or on the US West Coast.

Audiology practices are hybrid operational environments: they blend clinical patient care with retail storefront operations (hearing aid sales, device inventory, conversion funnels, and marketing ROI). The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of retail metrics, sales funnel tracking, and financial reporting—complemented by exposure to healthcare, EMR, or SaaS practice management.

In this role, you will also serve as an Agentic AI champion, leveraging modern AI productivity and prototyping tools to accelerate dataset analysis, automate documentation, and rapidly deliver actionable insights to practice owners.

Tech Stack & Tools

  • AI Tooling & Productivity: Claude 4.6+, GPT 5.4+, Windsurf, Cursor, and modern AI prototyping/analytics tools.
  • Analytics & BI Stack: SQL, Tableau/PowerBI, Snowflake, Mixpanel, and data warehouse architectures.
  • Core Systems: EHR/EMR, Practice Management, and Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) reporting workflows.

Key Pillars of Responsibility

  • Product Strategy & Commercial Intelligence: Define and execute the roadmap for analytics dashboards that give practice owners real-time visibility into both clinical health outcomes and retail sales performance (e.g., patient conversion, device sales, clinic utilization, revenue cycle).
  • Retail & Clinical Metric Alignment: Bridge the gap between clinical data and retail KPIs. Translate complex transactional and clinical data into intuitive, executive-ready dashboards.
  • Agentic Execution & Prototyping: Utilize AI multi-agent workflows to rapidly model reporting queries, generate data visualization prototypes, and synthesize user feedback at scale.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data engineering, UX design, marketing, and client success to prioritize analytics features that drive customer retention and open new enterprise upsell opportunities.
  • Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure all reporting data architectures comply with HIPAA standards, patient privacy mandates, and enterprise role-based access controls.

Skills & Requirements

  • Product Management Experience: 3–5+ years of PM experience in B2B SaaS, Retail Analytics, Business Intelligence, Digital Health or Healthcare IT.
  • Retail & Business Metrics Mastery: Strong working knowledge of retail SaaS metrics (sales conversion, inventory turnover, marketing ROI, revenue per patient, ARPU).
  • Healthcare/EMR Familiarity: Experience working with EMR, EHR, or healthcare practice management platforms is highly desirable.
  • Data & Technical Proficiency: Direct experience writing SQL queries, working with modern BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker), and designing reporting data models.
  • Agentic Proficiency: Demonstrable capability using AI tools to streamline specification writing, data analysis, or wireframing.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Bonus Points

  • Experience building analytics solutions for retail healthcare chains, optical/dental clinics, or enterprise franchises.
  • Background in data science or business intelligence engineering.

What Success Looks Like

  • Actionable Insights: Delivering intuitive dashboards that allow practice managers to immediately identify operational bottlenecks and revenue leakage.
  • Velocity: Accelerating reporting feature delivery using AI-enabled data modeling and specification workflows.
  • Customer Retention: Increasing platform stickiness by making Sycle the single source of truth for clinic owners' financial and operational success.

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision: Sycle pays employee-only premiums at 100% for base plans.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): Pre-tax options for Health ($3,400/yr) and Dependent Care ($7,500/yr).
  • Life & Disability: Voluntary Life/AD Short-Term (60% up to $2,000/week) and Long-Term (60% up to $7,500/month) Disability.
  • 401(k) with Matching: 100% match on the first 3% of salary deferrals, plus 50% match on the next 2%—with no vesting schedule.
  • Time Off: Paid holidays (~14 days), 12 vacation days, 4 personal days, and 9 sick days.
  • Perks: $50/month internet stipend and tuition reimbursement.
