The Operations Systems Manager is primarily responsible for managing, optimizing, and implementing systems and processes to provide high-level support across the company and portfolio. A successful Operations Systems Manager will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and efficiency across the organization by developing relationships with employees, providing cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic goals, and understand that this role is critical to the operation of Tailwind Group.
This is a full-time position working a standard schedule, Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm. Nights or weekends may be required from time to time dependent on business needs.
The compensation range for this position is $76,200 - $110,800 plus bonus potential. This range is determined by current market data based on the position requirements and complexities. Final offers of employment will be based on multiple factors including candidate education, skills, experience, and location.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Understand standards of property management including Fair Housing laws, Tenant/Landlord rights, and general real estate principles.
  • Aid in the end-to-end execution of critical projects and initiatives that drive the effective implementation and adoption of standards, practices, and processes to promote consistency in Tailwind's core property management practices.
  • Create and introduce operations processes, templates, tools, job aids, reports, and dashboards that support the adoption and implementation of practices and procedures.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system-related workflows.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and optimization of operational systems and technologies to support the company's business objectives.
  • Provide high-level peer-to-peer technical and operational support across all departments and acts as the liaison between properties and the company's managing software system support team.
  • Lead system conversions for all acquisitions and dispositions:
  • Review preliminary reports for discrepancies or issues and communicate issues and questions.
  • Responsible for new property set up.
  • Audit, monitor, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to areas of responsibility.
  • Identify problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments.
  • Partner with the Corporate Operations Team to identify and agree on strategies for effectively implementing standards, practices, and processes.
  • Help collaborate across departments on various assignments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Three or more years of progressive experience in student housing or property management.
  • Three or more years of experience working with Entrata software is required.
  • Experience managing large-scale systems, implementations, and process optimization initiatives is required.

  • Possess strong administrative, organization, and communication skills.
  • Skilled in facility management, budgeting, analytical review of financials, supervision, and business administration.
