About Us

Atlas is built for oncologists by oncologists. We provide practices with the staff, contracts, and toolkit they need to deliver truly whole person care to their cancer patients. Our value-based approach to care delivery aligns incentives, offering patients better outcomes, payors guaranteed reduction in medical expense, and provider partners greater financial independence.

Role Overview

Atlas has invested in a robust operations data infrastructure, and we're looking for someone who can build on that foundation to accelerate automation and speed-to-insight across our analytics workflows. The Senior Data Analyst, Clinical Operations will be a strategic analytics partner to clinical operations leadership, bringing together data from multiple platforms — including call center data, outcomes reporting, and our integrated Snowflake data warehouse that houses EMR data— to understand productivity and performance drivers across care teams. This role owns the full lifecycle of operational reporting: pulling and reconciling data across sources, reviewing it for accuracy and consistency, building and maintaining dashboards, and generating insights that practice administrators and leadership can act on.

Key Responsibilities

Data Integration & Quality

• Pull, combine, and reconcile data from multiple platforms into unified analyses

• Scope includes data supporting engagement, clinical programs, clinical documentation, and care team access/productivity

• QC data across sources to identify inconsistencies, gaps, or errors, and resolve or escalate data integrity issues as needed

• Maintain documentation of data sources, definitions, and report logic to ensure consistency across analyses

Reporting & Dashboards

• Build and maintain datasets to analyze care team productivity, call volumes/handling, and EHR-based workflow data across practice-partner sites

• Design, build, and maintain recurring dashboards and reports that track key operational metrics over time

Insights & Analysis

• Identify drivers of performance variation across teams, sites, and roles

• Generate clear, actionable insights from complex, multi-source datasets and present them to both technical and non-technical audiences, including clinic-level operators and senior leadership

Stakeholder Partnership

• Gather requirements from clinical operations leadership and translate them into specific, actionable analyses

Automation & Process Improvement

• To address all of the above responsibilities efficiently, individual should leverage modern tools and techniques (e.g., Excel Power Query, SQL, Claude)

• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring analyses and scale reporting capacity across the organization

Reporting: This role will report to the VP of Clinical Operations

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Health Informatics, Business Analytics, Economics, or related) or equivalent practical experience

· 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, with strong SQL proficiency and advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling)

· Experience working with EHR-sourced operational data and call center/IVR data in a healthcare or practice-operations setting

· Demonstrated ability to combine and QC data from multiple systems and build reliable, maintainable dashboards

· Ability to understand organizational goals and priorities and translate them into meaningful, trackable metrics

· Experience automating data and reporting processes using tools such as Power Query, SQL, and generative AI

· Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or Copilot to support day-to-day analytical work

· Strong communication skills and comfort translating complex data into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

· Familiarity with oncology or specialty care practice operations

· Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

· Experience in a high growth startup

· Experience in outpatient value-based care primary care

Some of the benefits of our comprehensive benefits package includes:

· Health, Dental, Vision insurance

· Competitive pay

· Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave
