About the Organization

Inner Peace Counseling Center is committed to facilitating balanced mental and physical healthcare by providing accessible and affordable mental health services to our community. We aim to cultivate a positive societal shift where individuals have the necessary support to lead healthier, more fulfilled lives. Our team of experienced professionals collaborates with a range of healthcare providers to elevate the standard of addiction recovery care and promote mental wellness.

As a fully remote detox support facility, our work environment is built on flexibility, yet we maintain a strong emphasis on teamwork and open communication. Utilizing advanced telehealth technologies, our team continues to deliver high-quality care while supporting each other through regular virtual meetings, training, and collaborative case discussions. You will engage with clients from the comfort of your own home, yet be an integral part of our community-driven care system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the unique needs of your clients and create tailored treatment plans that prioritize their recovery and well-being.
  • Facilitate care team meetings and engage in collaborative discussions to ensure integrated patient care across multiple disciplines.
  • Actively involve patients and their families in setting realistic goals related to the treatment and recovery process while addressing any barriers to reaching these goals.
  • Maintain a balance between administrative responsibilities and patient advocacy to provide a seamless continuum of care.
  • Foster relationships with colleagues, external partners, healthcare providers, and community resources to enhance the support network for your clients.
  • Utilize decision support tools to present clients with various treatment options, ensuring informed and educated choices are made.
  • Empower clients with practical skills and coping strategies to enhance their interaction with healthcare providers and improve their overall treatment experience.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position specifically caters to individuals diagnosed with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, particularly as they navigate the complexities of addiction and recovery. Our clients may include those in detox stages, as well as individuals continuing their journey through various levels of care in the recovery process. Your approach will meet them where they are, providing compassionate support and comprehensive services tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience is required.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution is essential.
  • A valid LCSW license in California is mandatory.
  • Expertise in assessment methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and crisis management specific to clients facing complex mental health challenges.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote working environment while maintaining high standards of care and commitment to organizational goals.
  • Proven skill in establishing priorities, managing a diverse caseload, and meeting critical deadlines.
Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with prior experience in detox and addiction recovery settings, particularly those who have worked with interdisciplinary teams to develop holistic treatment approaches. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling tools will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Attractive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Generous paid time off and sick leave to promote work-life balance.
  • Life insurance coverage to ensure peace of mind.
  • Profit-sharing component that allows you to participate in our organization's success.
