Artiva Developer – Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management

Supports the implementation of TSI Artiva HCx applications.  Monitors and manages requests for application enhancements, bug fixes, and new features. Provides technical support to Healthcare Operations as needed.  Meets deadlines and ensures continued progress toward project and assignment completion. Interfaces with the Artiva Dev Team and TSI IT team regarding project plans, application design and support.  Provides guidance to less experienced staff. Shares experience and expertise with other members of team. 


Responsibilities
  • Regularly meets with Artiva Dev Manager and team to develop/modify system specifications.
  • Manages system implementation project plans and task lists and assists in organizing relevant meetings and needs.
  • Designs solutions for Artiva application and prepares the appropriate documentation.
  • Supervises development of test data, system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle.
  • Performs Q/A on application functionality.
  • Researches and resolves implementation-related TrackIT tickets.
  • Documents and manages new systems or enhancements to existing systems.

Developer Activities

  • Implementations – import and export ETLs, record formats, format scripts, field mapping
  • Fee Configurations – fee modifications, rate modifications, logic development for duplicate payments, prior payments, and patient payments.  Scripting for same.
  • Placement re-open logic
  • Recall file processing – import and export logic and scripting
  • Automated Appeals workflows – implementing/updating logic for changing client requirement
  • Letter Management – development Artiva letters for automated appeals
  • Account Reconciliation balancing logic and scripting

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge and experience developing in the Artiva application including custom scripting, UI updates, and data integration. 
  • One or more years of progressively more responsible Information Systems experience, including application design, deployment, testing, and support.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle, business office, accounts receivable, InterSystems Caché and SQL databases is a plus.
  • Experience using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process for development, testing and deployment.
  • Working knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices as well as project management.
  • Experience should include problem solving, creating system and program level documentation, and knowledge of basic business management concepts.
