• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that include pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, enabling effective patient care and oversight.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by our clinical team to bolster the effectiveness of care provided.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans, addressing the specific needs and goals of clients.
• Engage actively in the licensing and accreditation processes to uphold our high standards of care.
• Act as a liaison with pertinent service systems, state agencies, and community partners to streamline access to resources and support services for clients.
• Maintain effective communication pathways to ensure all contract standards are met while promoting the mission of Bright Harbor within the broader community.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to promote our programs and secure additional resources and funding.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through conferences, training sessions, and participation in community initiatives relevant to mental health.
• Promote and integrate the agency's mission, values, philosophy, and principles into all aspects of your work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the overall mission of our organization.

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, each presenting unique challenges and backgrounds. This may include individuals seeking support for mental health issues, substance use recovery, and those with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Your role will be instrumental in guiding each person toward effective coping strategies, improved emotional health, and pathways to independence.

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is necessary to practice.

• Experience in a community health setting is highly desirable, as it provides familiarity with the diverse needs and challenges of the patient population.
• Previous involvement in developing crisis management plans or implementing positive behavior support systems will be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork are essential for success in this role.
