Job description

VetsEZ is currently looking for a Dynatrace Developer for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. In this role, you will help enhance the monitoring and observability of enterprise Salesforce applications by leveraging Dynatrace to provide actionable insights into application health and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional technical teams to configure monitoring solutions, improve operational visibility, and proactively identify performance issues across critical healthcare systems.

The ideal candidate has experience implementing and managing Dynatrace monitoring solutions within enterprise environments, with a strong understanding of application performance monitoring (APM), synthetic monitoring, and observability best practices. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the reliability, scalability, and operational readiness of mission-critical federal healthcare applications.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Dynatrace dashboards, reports, and alerts to support Salesforce application monitoring.
  • Develop visibility into user actions and key application performance events to improve operational insight.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain synthetic monitoring for critical Salesforce transactions and business workflows.
  • Partner with application development, infrastructure, and support teams to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Support end-to-end observability initiatives across the Salesforce environment while enhancing monitoring capabilities.
  • Improve monitoring standards, operational readiness, and issue detection by implementing best practices and optimizing existing monitoring solutions.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dynatrace Developer or in a similar application performance monitoring role.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and administering Dynatrace dashboards, reports, alerts, and monitoring solutions.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce application monitoring and performance optimization within enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring, application performance monitoring (APM), and end-to-end observability concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and operational teams in an Agile environment.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience supporting federal healthcare agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Defense Health Agency (DHA), or the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
  • Experience improving enterprise monitoring frameworks, proactive performance management, and operational readiness.
  • Familiarity with complex Salesforce environments, incident prevention strategies, and ITIL or observability best practices.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government clearance.
