As part of a collaborative team, you will interact with mental health professionals across various disciplines, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each patient’s care.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that include psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand each patient’s unique needs.
• Work closely with patients to formulate personalized treatment plans that address their specific goals, cultural backgrounds, and mental health concerns.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in individual, family, and group therapy settings.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute distress and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes and discharge summaries, adhering to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, empowering them with the tools and knowledge to manage their wellness effectively.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with the latest research and trends in mental health, incorporating new knowledge into practice.
• Commit to ethical guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and information.

This role focuses on individuals undergoing detoxification and those with mental health challenges associated with addiction recovery. You will support a diverse client base, ensuring that culturally relevant approaches are utilized in therapy to foster understanding and healing.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is mandatory.
• Proven ability to function effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team framework.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the aptitude to connect with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Previous experience in a detox or addiction recovery setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting clinical assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and patient tracking.
