Soulful Serenity Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a Licensed Telehealth Mental Health Counselor to join our remote, dedicated team. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, along with a sign-on bonus.

This position is entirely remote, allowing our counselor to work from the comfort of their own home while still contributing to a collaborative and supportive practice. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will conduct sessions with clients across various settings, adapting to their needs while ensuring confidentiality and professional integrity. With a focus on the latest advancements in digital health care, we provide our counselors with a fully equipped virtual infrastructure to engage clients effectively.

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, documenting significant insights and treatment plans from initial consultation through to discharge.
• Evaluate and analyze clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to create individualized treatment regimens.
• Develop and implement intervention and recovery plans tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and group settings.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe and open environment for healing and growth.
• Monitor client progress closely, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with other health professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide follow-up communication for clients transitioning to hospital care, ensuring continuity and support during their recovery.
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement preventive strategies to address these challenges in real time.
• Engage with families and caregivers to share coping strategies and resources to effectively deal with mental health challenges.

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who require assistance with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and other mental health disorders. Your approach will be essential in creating a supportive environment that encourages openness and healing, utilizing strength-based methodologies that empower clients to take active roles in their treatment.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
• A proven track record of passing standardized assessments such as the NCE and/or NCMHCE.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise through previous experience as a mental health counselor in a similar capacity.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to streamline client management and documentation.
• Experience addressing both emotional and physical health issues, including substance use disorders, to provide comprehensive care.
• Strong knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) guidelines and best practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, honed to facilitate effective interactions with clients and healthcare collaborators.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills coupled with a genuine, empathetic approach to client care.
