This position is structured as a remote role, allowing for flexibility while maintaining close connections with our client base. Counselors will engage with clients through secure telehealth platforms, adapting traditional therapeutic techniques to an online setting. Full-time employees can expect a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evenings or weekends as necessary to accommodate client schedules. • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, utilizing validated assessment tools and clinical interviews.
• Create, implement, and evaluate evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients’ goals and therapeutic needs.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques suited to the context and client preferences.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards, ensuring thorough documentation of treatment progress.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and case conferences, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their unique emotional landscapes while supporting them in developing coping strategies and resilience.

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting individual and group therapy sessions within a clinical mental health setting.
• Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to mental health treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling strong rapport-building with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Strong communication capabilities, both written and verbal, essential for effective collaboration within our team and with clients.
• A steadfast commitment to ethical principles and a deep understanding of client confidentiality.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or working with youth and family populations may have a competitive advantage.
