As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Building and nurturing positive, trusting relationships with patients to create a safe therapeutic environment.
• Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each patient, adjusting them as required based on ongoing evaluations.
• Facilitating weekly therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, effectively utilizing therapeutic techniques to promote engagement and insight.
• Monitoring patient progress through regular follow-up assessments, enabling timely modifications to treatment approaches as necessary.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, for comprehensive patient care; making referrals to specialists when determined appropriate.
• Keeping detailed and accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders is highly preferred.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage clients in their treatment journey.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to working with a diverse team of healthcare providers.

• Experience working specifically within outpatient mental health settings.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Experience working with marginalized populations and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in therapeutic practices.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
